History
Lynda found her love for Information Technology while in high school at Shawnee Mission South, in Overland Park, Kansas.  She had a knack for mathematics.  One of her math teachers pulled her aside during enrollment for her senior year.  He rearranged her classes and selected "Introduction to Fortran Programming" for her.  "I think you'll like this" he said.  He was more than correct.  Lynda was hooked and has been involved with technology since that first class.

Lynda continued her education at Emporia State University, Emporia, Kansas.  She changed majors from Mathematics to Data Processing after discovering more programming classes in the Business School.  Excitingly, she realized that she could have a career in programming.  After seven semesters, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business, majoring in Data Processing and minoring in Mathematics.

Immediately out of college, Lynda started programming, progressing into analysis and design.  She soon moved to data analysis and database design.  While employed by a major Kansas City company, she trained and transitioned into management. She left the corporate world in 1994, consulting for small to midsize clients.
